homecoming

My sister is coming home this weekend, after a year serving as a mentor at His Mansion.  It's been a hard year with her living so far away, but it was worth it for her to be able to dedicate that time to helping people in need.  The burden of care she feels for the people that most of the world just casts off as broken and useless is both inspiring, and humbling.  I'm so proud of the woman she's grown into while there, and I cannot wait to have her home again. 

 

I am so excited to celebrate a belated Christmas with this girl, and to resume our marathon crafting sessions.  It's been too long!
