Inspiration Friday Returns!

It's Friday, and it has been way. too. long. since we've had some inspiration up in here.  The wait is over, folks.  Feast your eyes on these treats......

1. Forts

I kept thinking I had talked about my love of forts in another Inspiration Friday post (it's getting hard to keep track, you know?), and when I realized I hadn't I decided it was high time. I mean seriously, aren't forts pretty much the birthplace of inspiration? Methinks yes.

2.  Croquet

It's summer, and although you wouldn't know it from the unfortunate weather we've been having, I am so excited to get out and play me a rousing came of croquet.  So excited in fact, that I've planned a vintage themed croquet party for the beginning of July.  You're all invited.

3. Greenhouses

If I had the time, money, inclination, or the space for one in my backyard, I would definitely build one of these. Or pay somebody else to. How glorious would it be to spend an afternoon in one of these, sipping lemonade, reading a good book, and being surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna?

4. Hot Air Balloons

 Ever since the husband and I watched one peacefully float by behind our house a few weeks ago, I've been pretty much obsessed with the idea of riding in one.

5. Vintage Clocks

 How great are these vintage clocks? I feel like I need to start a(nother) collection.

 I hope everyone has a great weekend planned! Ours will be filled with lots of yard work, and volunteering at the Salvation Army.

Well...That Was Awkward

After an odd few weeks of our dear blog having somewhat of a breakdown we're back in action! It took hours upon hours of me sitting in front of my computer fruitlessly clicking my mouse and yelling PG13 rated words at the screen, but all that effort and crying finally paid off.  I managed to coax the blog away from the edge, and back to safety.  Stay tuned as we get back to our regular schedule of She Cooks Mondays, Fresh Finds Tuesdays, Into the Wardrobe Wednesdays, Something Crafty Thursdays, and of course...Inspiration Fridays!

Something Happened...

You may or may not have noticed that over the weekend, something really screwey happened to our blog and now it's seriously messed up (scroll down and it'll become painfully obvious).  Please bear with us while we try to figure out what happened, and make an attempt to get it fixed.  Thanks everyone!

Four Years...

Four years ago today, I was standing in a room, wearing the most beautiful dress I've ever had the pleasure of putting on, waiting to walk down the (extremely long) aisle towards the man who would that day, become my husband.

Not every single day has been quite the party that our wedding day was, but every single day has been precious/amazing/awesome/a blessing in it's own way.
