Cruisin'

I love love love cruiser bikes. When my husband and I were in Hawaii for our honeymoon these were all over the place. Since then, I have been desperate to get my hands on one. Just how fun would it be to ride one of these to work with your lunch and bag in a little basket on the back? I do believe I shall be saving my pennies up for one of these beauties! My favorites are these from Electra.

3. Adam

This is a great movie, so good in fact, that I watched it twice in one day. Hugh Dancy gives a great performance and wears an astronaut suit which makes it even better.

4. The Weepies
They are my new favorite band. I discovered them on the Adam soundtrack and now I listen to them everyday.

5. The Marvelous Land of Oz
I've started reading the Oz series by L. Frank Baum. I think these books get forgotten because the movie is so good, but I would definitely recommend them. They are an easy read because they are children's books, but they are very inspiring (a few of my crafts have been inspired by these books)

Anchors Away!

I am such a fan of nautical inspired clothing. I love stripes, I love the color red, and I LOVE the fresh and clean look of all these pieces. They just make me want to get myself a sail boat, and lounge around on it's deck looking oh so cute. I think part of the reason I like this style so much is that it reminds me of spring- something I am getting desperatly impatient for!

Owls- The Sequel

After seeing my sister's post about all those cute cute owls the other day, I looked around my house and realized that I had a serious lack of them in my life. So, I went on the hunt, and guess what I found...these adorable little friends from Mibo Studio. They are now living happily on my mantle. My husband even got in on the owl action and put two of them together ALL BY HIMSELF!!! I knew he had some closet craftiness in him:)

Gold Medal Olympic Style

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the medal bearer outfits for the 2010 Olympics, and how utterly fantastic they are? Amid the blah flannel shirts, and downright tacky star covered uniforms of the US Ski team, these costumes, designed by Aritzia stand out as shining beacons of absolute cuteness. I really feel like Canada should get a gold medal just for coming up with such a great look. I am SO hoping that Aritzia decides to produce these pieces for the rest of us after the Olympics are over!

A Little Bit of Fancy

Happy Monday! I wanted to share some prettiness with you on a clouday Monday morning. One of my new favorite things is Fringe Studio's line of glass products. Their candles, magnets, and vases are so gorgeous, and they have a bit of an antique feel to them. I think they definitely say "girlie" but I'm hoping to get a few select pieces into my house anyway:)

Owls

I love owls!

My mom and dad got a set of these mugs for their wedding. I found them when we remodeled our kitchen and promptly claimed them for myself.

Owls just make everything cuter.

Inspiration Fridays

So, we realize that we stole this idea from about 1,000 other bloggers, but it is just such a great idea. We'd like to take a day each week and share some of the things that inspire us. Hopefully they inspire you too!

1. Dolan Geiman
Ana and I discovered him at the Art Fair on the Square a few years ago and he has been one of our favorites ever since. All of his work is just so happy and fun.




2. Bulldogs
Some may find it odd that bulldogs inspire me- but they do! I have been bugging my husband FOREVER now to let me get one:) They just seem to embody laid back happiness. And how can you not love all those awesome wrinkles?



3. Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
It isn't even out yet, and already its one of my favorite movies! I am so excited for the visual treats that await me with this film. You just can't go wrong with a Johhny Depp/Tim Burton team up.



4. Fairy Lights
These little lights make me SO anxious for summer even though it is still freezing cold outside. I am ready for lemonaid, skirts, and sunglasses- and of course, these happy lights strung around outside. Perfect for nighttime outdoor get togethers!




5. The Crafty Dough Puncher
Ashlee Pitman is one of the cutest and craftiest people I know. I am so excited to see all the fun ideas she will bring to her new blog!
