1. Kites
My brothers in law and I attempted some kite flying this morning. Although the effort wasn't particularly successful, I loved watching them twirl around in the air. So pretty.
2. Tile
When I was going to school I was always so excited when I got to incorporate tile of any sort into a project. In fact, I kind of hoarded tile samples from our design library. There are just so many varieties, and they are all so beautiful. I never cease to be amazed at how they can transform a room. My favorites are from Ann Sacks.
3. Cafes
There are few things in this world I love more than spending a Saturday morning at one of my favorite cafes or coffee shops. Maybe its cliche, but I can't help but feel that some of my most reflective, and inspired moments come when I am sitting there quietly by myself, coffee in hand, just watching the world around me.
4. Red Shoes
I have four pair. I firmly maintain that they match with anything. They always make me happy when I wear them. Then End.
5. Elderly Couples Holding Hands
Seeing it makes me smile. Some things don't need any explanation.
